Making his home in Vancouver, Canada, Paul works with companies of all sizes, both locally and across the country. Through his 15-year career, Paul has shown his talent for improving the interaction between software design, business needs and human factors. His work has brought more productive and easy to use interfaces to desktop, mobile and web-based applications, websites, intranets and CD-ROM courseware.

His skill in communicating complex ideas in usability and design shows in Paul’s work as an academic and corporate instructor. In addition to teaching a 3rd-year credit course in interface design at Simon Fraser University, he has developed and taught courses at the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design and University of British Columbia. In course evaluations, he is consistently rated very highly by students, and has been nominated for an Excellence in Teaching Award at Simon Fraser University.

design at various public events and workshops, including the British
Columbia Library Association, IBM, New Media BC, the Nova Scotia
College of Art and Design, and VanUE. His proactive approach to solving design
problems combined with his dynamic and engaging communication style
ensure that his presentations leave attendees not only well informed,
but equipped with ideas and techniques they can use right away.
